HANDGUN FUN SHOOT

SATURDAY, June 7, 2008

For Pioneer Members and Guests

Fund-raiser proceeds to the Brickyard Building Rehab

No winners - It's not a competitive match.

No losers -Handgun Fun Day is a great way to improve your expertise with your gun.

Easy enough for new shooters, yet a challenge for the experienced.

All 5 handgun ranges at McBride will be used for Handgun Fun Day. Target shooting, practical self-defense shooting situations, shooting from props to simulate real places, falling plates, other reactive targets, even the moving target range will be open and staffed with Range Officers for this event.

Each range will have separate shooting situations available for participants to fire. You can shoot one, or all, or repeat shoots, just like at an amusement park, you can ride one game all day, or pick and choose.

Score sheets and scoring methods will be provided for those who want them.

Handguns:     Rim fire or Center Fire, auto or revolver, open sights only.

Ammo:     Bring 50-250 rounds. More ammo will just mean more fun, not more cleaning!

Lunch:     Included for shooters in cost of ticket; available for spectators at reasonable cost.

Fee:         $20.00.

Extras: After lunch is served, special events will be available for $2 per person, with winners splitting the take. These might include: Pistol Poker, dueling trees, double-tap drills, bowling pins, shooting star, stake shoot, other gun games.

Shooters' Safety Meeting (mandatory):     8:00 AM, Saturday June 7, 2008.

Reservations or Questions:     Contact Griff Pickett: 816-405-3539.
