Pioneer Friends of NRA

The Pioneer Fiends of NRA Committee is preparing for its 4th annual Fundraising event and hope that you will make plans to attend. Our event is one of the fastest growing events in Missouri. All Donations to the Friends of NRA are non-political and are used to fund grassroots youth firearm education and instruction programs such as 4H, FFA, Boy Scouts, and Junior ROTC along with providing invaluable support for public shooting range improvements and development. Proceeds from this event benefit the NRA Foundation, a 501c3 nonprofit organization whose funds are used for the benefit of youth shooting programs and also provide critical funding to firearm safety and education programs to school systems, women’s groups and instructors on the local, state and national level. Additionally, FNRA grants are awarded to programs such as youth education, law enforcement training, hunter education, conservation, marksmanship training. Since inception, the NRA Foundation has awarded hundreds of Missouri grants totaling over 3.65+ million dollars. Roughly 74% of these grants were awarded to youth-related activities and have impacted programs in 91 of Missouri’s 114 counties. In the past five years alone, over $80,000+ in grants have come back to Jackson, Cass and Johnson counties for numerous 4H and FFA youth shooting sports programs among others including grants in support of several Pioneer Gun Club initiatives!
