Pioneer’s Junior Program runs year round every Thursday night, except the club’s general meeting night. We meet at 5:00 pm and are generally finished by 10:00 pm. Check the monthly calendar posted on this web site for the dates. This program is open for both girls and boys, ages 12 to 20 years old.

The NRA Marksmanship Qualification Program is used as a basis for our training. We teach firearm safety first and then work on developing a youth’s firearm proficiency from Pro-Marksman to Distinguished Expert. Each stage of the youth’s progress is recognized with certificates and medals as they increase their marksmanship ability.

National Rifle Association certified Instructor/Coach personal teach the program. Our current youth leader has over 20 years of experience teaching firearm safety and marksmanship.

We also offer the Youth Hunter Education Challenge (YHEC) Program. Our YHEC begins in February and continues through the regional and state championships on to the National Championship held in July. The youths are required to learn rifle marksmanship, shotgun shooting, muzzle loading, archery, compass orientation, hunter education, trail safety, and wildlife identification.
