THE 22 GAMES AND COMPETITION WILL START ON FRIDAY OCTOBER 25TH.

THERE WILL BE A FEW CHANGES TO THE WAY THE COMPETITION IS CONDUCTED.

THE COURSE OF FIRE WILL BE 50 ROUNDS INSTEAD OF 60.

ALL FIRING WILL BE AT 25YRDS. Two targets standing, two targets kneeling or sitting and one target prone.

There will be Pistol competition, the course of fire will be the same as the rifle.

The entry fee will be $5.00 for each gun. Payout will be 1st in class $7.00 2nd in class $4.00 3rd in class $2.00.

All competitors will be classified, the first night of competition everyone will shoot heads up, your second competition classification will be based on your first nights scores. Your third night of competition classification will be the combination of your two previous scores. After you have shot three [3] scores your classification will be permanent. Shoot out of your class two times in a row and you will go up one class. Shoot below your class three times in a row you will go down one class. All new shooters through the shooting year will start in the Marksman class.

New shooters are encouraged to participate; young shooters who may not be able to hold a rifle offhand are encouraged to shoot with the aid of a shooting stick and an adult helper. With the exception of the young shooters no artificial support of any kind will be allowed, you may use any sight on your rifle or pistol except a laser. We will hold dueling tree competitions from time to time depending on the interest; these will be shot at 25yrds with any sight and double elimination with a blind draw to determine your competitor.

The classifications will be: Marksman- below 85%
Sharpshooter- 85% to 89.99%
Expert- 90% to 94.99%
Master- 95% and above
A class will be at least three shooters, classes will be combined upward until there is a class. Three shooters in a class, one payout. Four shooters 1st and 2nd. Five shooters 1st, 2nd, 3rd.

The goal of these competitions is to make every competitor a better Marksman along with the Friday night fun of competition and comradeship.
