NRA Action Pistol
i.e.: Bianchi Cup type shooting is open to all Competitors. To get a classification card you must be a member of the NRA, or you can shoot in the unclassified class, which is the Master class. We will have a .22 Rimfire Class at our match. This is for someone just starting out or for the person that just wants to shoot and have fun the inexpensive way. Just have a strong side draw holster for the gun, come out, and have some fun! Your scores will be submitted to the NRA and you will get a Classification in the Rimfire Class in NRA Action Pistol. Other than .22 Rimfire the minimum caliber is 9 mm and the power factor required is 120,000. Bullet velocity times bullet weight equals power factor. i.e.: a 115gr bullet would have a velocity of 1044 fps to make power factor (115 x 1044 = 120,060). Guns used can be right out of a box or fully customized, that is up to you and your bank account.
To keep things fair, Action Pistol has five classes that competitors shoot in according to their skill level. High Master Master Expert Sharpshooter Marksman
