Pioneer Membership Withdrawal Policy
A revision of the current Withdrawal Policy has been approved by the Pioneer Executive Board which will make it much easier for members to ‘suspend’ their membership. It was felt that some members, who would drop their Pioneer Membership, might rejoin if they weren’t required to go through the Orientation Program and pay the Initiation fee as if they were brand new members to our Club. A moratorium is available to members that wish to suspend their membership. To do so, this Withdrawal action must be member initiated by the following.
1. Must notify the Club by filing the Pioneer Membership Temporary Withdrawal form at a Pioneer General Membership or Executive Board Meeting.
2. Must turn in Pioneer gate card in good working condition, ID badge & key. Member shooting and voting privileges will be suspended during the Withdrawal period. Member’s gate card deposit will be returned to them within 30 days.
3. Member will still have access to Pioneer Newsletters and may participate during public events.
4. To reinstate, member must complete updated application forms, pass a current criminal background check, attend a 2-hour Pioneer Range Rules update class and/or pass a brief quiz about updated rules, facilities, and policies. NRA membership must be reinstated, if it was dropped during the Withdrawal.
5. To obtain Reinstatement, the returning member must pay the dues for the year of reinstatement in full and a $10.00 deposit for the gate card. Additionally there will be a small fee to cover the background check.
6. Member must then be approved by vote of the Pioneer Membership at the next General Meeting.
7. Member will be re-issued a current Pioneer gate card, ID badge, key, and all membership privileges will be reinstated.
8. Member will have no longer than 3 years from the date of withdrawal to request Reinstated Membership.
9. Any abuse of this policy may, upon vote of the Executive Board, be cause for immediate reclassification to Inactive Status,
